The daily newspaper Metro and Real Madrid have signed a sponsorship agreement that see’s Metro become the main sponsor of the basketball team for the next three seasons until the end of the 2009/10 campaign.
The agreement with Metro has two main objectives: Increase brand awareness in the general public and get access to exclusive editorial content for print and digital publishing.
Metro, the largest newspaper in the world is published in 100 major cities in 20 countries in Europe, North America, South America and Asia. It takes another step forward after this union with the Real Madrid basketball team and their link to the sports world.
STEELMAN SPORTS provided the service of their specialized agency for negotiating the sponsorship contract between Metro and Real Madrid and developed the whole program of activation of the sponsorship for the following three years.
